- Allie starts on a T-Ball team and it's Debra's turn to bring the snacks. She brings something that is not on the approved food list and refuses to change it to something else. Ray wants to comply and she does not.
- It's Ray and Debra's turn to bring snacks for Ally's T-Ball team this week, a team that is sponsored by Nemo's Pizza. But when they put out the pretzels and the Hawaiian Punch, the team's coach, Bryan Trenberth isn't happy because they didn't follow the teams "approved snack list". Later, at home, Ray and Debra get into an argument about the team snacks. Ray wants to follow the coach's list, but Debra doesn't ...and is angry that Ray doesn't back her up on the issue. So when the next game rolls around, Ray secretly brings an "approved snack" behind Debra's back.
- Ally is involved in T-Ball & once again Ray is of no help. Debra has to get the kids ready and prepare the snacks and so on. Ally is pumped for the game, and she even slept in her uniform. The entire family including Frank, Marie and Robert attend Ally's first game.
Debra tangles with the chairperson Bryan Trenberth (Dan Castellaneta) of the event about approved team snacks. Ray and Debra were in charge for the team snacks for this game. All Debra brought was pretzels and Hawaiian punch.
Bryan insists that team snacks should be from the approved list, which does not contain pretzels or any other unhealthy items. Debra says that she never saw the approved list. Debra expects Ray to support her. Ray wants to apologize to Bryan, but Debra says that it's a kid snack and it should not be this big a deal in any case. Debra says that she has 3 kids under 7 years of age, and she does not have the time to cater a T-ball game.
Bryan gets his wife to get apples and kiwi from the car, and since he catered for this week, he asks Debra and Ray to bring team snacks the following week. Debra says that this is not about the snacks, and it is about an uptight Bryan being on a power trip. Debra wants to stick to her guns, but Bryan threatens to bump her off the T-ball list altogether.
Ray, however, complies with the demands of the snacks and attempts to keep it from Debra, who is adamant that they will not bring any snacks to the next game. Debra is still angry at Ray for taking Bryan's side during the argument. Ray tells Debra to not make a thing from her argument with Bryan. Debra cannot understand why Ray needs to be liked by everybody. Debra gives an ultimatum that they will not bring a snack next week and she wants Ray to back her up.
Ray fails miserably in his quest to be good and hiding it all from Debra. Frank tells Ray to stand up Bryan and not to let him push him and Debra around. Frank argues that Ray's kids will never respect him if he allows himself to be pushed around like this. Frank brings a notebook to the game to keep score. He tells Ray that the other team is winning due to the errors of Bryan's kid. Ray hands over the snacks to Bryan, when Debra is minding the kids. He wants Bryan to set up the snacks and take the credit for it. Ray brought bread-sticks, tangerines, granola bars and string cheese. But then Debra comes by and Bryan thanks her for the wonderful snack spread for the kids. Ray blows up at Bryan and throws all the snacks at him.
Ray berates Bryan for keeping a stupid snack list (with cooked bananas) and points out that Bryan's kid is costing them the game. Even the kids see Ray yelling at Bryan. Debra apologizes to Bryan. Next time, Marie is on snack duty, and she brings a whole feast.
