This installment of "The F.B.I." stars Lynda Day (later, Linda Day George) and Glenn Corbett. George was among the most beautiful actresses of her time and Corbett had the prettiest eyes of any man I've ever seen. So, whether or not you like this particular episode, it's got two of the prettiest actors you could imagine!

The story begins with a go-go dancer, Joyce Carr (Day), working as her older husband has a few drinks at the bar. When the man leaves, Carr's boyfriend, Cliff Holm (Corbett), is waiting. He and his friend kill the Sergeant and soon the FBI is called in because the murder was of a soldier AND because it turns out Carr is wanted for a parole violation.

So why did they kill the man? Well, it seems that Carr and Holm have a racket...she marries soldiers and he kills them....and they collect the insurance. In fact, soon after this, Holm wants to find another mark....but Carr's conscience, such as it is, is beginning to bother her. It's made even worse when the next sucker they find turns out to be a really nice guy and she doesn't want to go through with it. Can Erskine and the FBI find these folks before they commit their next killing?!

This is a very good episode of the series and is exciting. I was a bit torn about Carr's character. After all, she was a career criminal and had killed before...so why is she suddenly having pangs of conscience? Regardless of the inconsistency, I guess it is possible...though not very likely. Overall, still a very good show...one you'll likely enjoy.
