Not funny

I didn't laugh once during this episode. I love the first 2 seasons but this one has just gone down the crapper. Now the writers are more concerned with trying to offend as many people as possible (although biased - there are countless slams against Republicans, conservatives, Bush, and religion). In the first 2 seasons it was more than tolerable because it was funny. It seems the writers now have a political agenda and are just trying to enforce their views on everyone. In this episode we get to watch Brian (as the moral compass) comment on religion as simply sheep doing whatever someone tells them to do, and how religious people are weak-minded that the evil take advantage of and exploit. Perhaps the writers are making fun of Brian and his pseudo- intellectualism, but more often than not these lines seem forced and thrown in, as if the writers just wanted their opinion to be heard. It takes you out of the episode and just feels awkward.

I watch Family Guy to laugh, not to be told what the writers think is right or wrong. Please go back to doing what you do best, which is being funny.
