Warning: Spoilers
In this episode Andre, a guy who bullied Steve for many years, goes into hospital with leukemia and Steve organizes a search for a bone marrow transplant. At the same time Harriet wants to redecorate the apartment and Carl looks for furniture at the police auction.

I really liked the leukemia storyline. It raises awareness as well as shows the African American community that they would have better chance with someone of their race and this way gets many young kids the idea to register for this. Well done. And it is also great when they mention that someone picking on you is still not a reason not to try to save their life.

And I must say that dog that Carl got seems to be the same one that was on Friends when Joey moved out! Either it is the same prop or those dogs were very popular in the 90s!

We find Steve being bullied by a group of punks. The story suggests that Steve has a history of being tormented by these guys. Yet, these characters never appeared before this episode. The episode becomes pretty depressing when the main punk, Andre, is revealed to have leukemia. It was very noble of Urkel to go all out, to try and help this guy. However, I wasn't touched. This was an unlikeable character. He didn't become likeable because he was supposed to have a serious illness. The ONLY thing I liked about this episode, at all, was watching Steve and Laura together! They had a good amount of screen time here. The other part of the story, about Carl being too cheap to want to pay for something? Who cares? That got old back in the first season. Again, only Steve and Laura made it all worthwhile. In this particular case, I think Laura's red lipstick got to me!
