With the convent's washing machine increasingly unreliable Sister Bertrille takes the laundry to a laundromat that's just opened. Inside, Harry Madison (Pat Harrington Jr., "One Day at a Time") tries to get Sister Bertrille to switch from Delight detergent to Rubbadubdub. In reality, he has a hidden camera filming a candid commercial for Delight and is thrilled with her loyalty. He offers her a brand new washing machine and a year's supply of Delight if she signs the release to use her in the commercial. Reverend Mother Placido, however, is angry she signed it, as she doesn't feel it is right for a religious figure to endorse a product. She unwillingly goes to Harry to try and be released from the commercial commitment. He says it is impossible at this stage. Carlos has gotten to know Harry as a customer of the casino and tries to butter him up for the convent, but resorts to trick psychological tactics. But a change of heart may come from an unexpected source.
