The Captain is continually interrupted when trying to read Carolyn his poem for her, but her rapt attention to a singer-songwriter stranded at Gull Cottage gives the Captain an idea for getting his poem heard.
Interrupted by a songster on the beach as his tries once more to recite his poem to Carolyn, Captain Gregg creates a storm that unintentionally strands the songster and his manager at Gull Cottage. All is not lost as the Captain decides to induce the musician to compose a song based on his poem. Meanwhile, Claymore sees this as an opportunity to become the songster's new manager.—statmanjeff
