Richard needs a new assistant for his company so Lorelai helps out temporarily. Richard is very picky about hiring a secretary and Lorelai snaps on him. Like mother, like daughter? Luke took a fishing trip to get a break from Stars Hollow and finally returns at the end of the ep. Him and Rory have a sweet moment at the diner.
