Warning: Spoilers
Dorothy continues to struggle to find out what her disease is. Hr friend tells her which doctor to go to. He is a Chinese doctor and diagnoses Dorothy with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But there is no cure so she has for now live with it, still, she is very happy to know what is wrong with her.

The scene at thee restaurant was very funny. When at the table Dorothy tells the waiter that they are celebrating because she found out disease she has. Sophia's trick to get free wine was also very funny, she was great at it. And Dorothy's speech at the end to the doctor at the restaurant was greatly done.

A well deserved slap at uncaring doctors.

Warning: Spoilers
Dorothy's illness is finally given a name which makes her feel thrilled even though there is no cure for it. Chronic fatigue syndrome is the name, a disease that Creator Susan Harris was diagnosed with and pass it on to Dorothy to make the audience aware of it. Meanwhile, Blanche continues her attempted becoming a writer, at one point even having issues sleeping and giving a hysterical performance as she looks at a bag of yokes that Rose has removed from the eggs. Keone Young plays her doctor who comes to the conclusion of her diagnosis and Michael McGuire once again plays the doctor who rudely dismissed Dorothy in New York, getting a well-deserved tongue-lashing from Dorothy for not taking his medical responsibilities to his patients seriously. Richard Mulligan guest stars as neighbor Harry Weston. I'm not sure that I like the bit with the salt in the champagne that makes the girls seem dishonest for allowing Sofia to get away with it but overall, it's a very good episode that Rue McClanahan ends up stealing with her eccentric acting while overcoming the inability to sleep.

A decent if not belabored story

Warning: Spoilers
The premise of Dorothy's chronic fatigue syndrome is compelling enough. I'm just not sure why two episodes were needed to tell the story. It takes Dorothy talking to FOUR different doctors (if you count pediatrician Dr. Weston from Empty Nest) to finally get the diagnosis. By that point, the story is so drawn out that it's difficult to still care. And what are the odds that Dr. Budd, the doctor she sees in New York, just happens to show up at the same restaurant in Miami?! Admittedly, it is satisfying to see Dorothy tell him off, but credulity is severely strained here. The Rose & Blanche dialogue of mocking Minnesota was fun, it just makes you really wonder why Rose left such an idyllic place such as St. Olaf.

Sick and tired of being dismissed

Warning: Spoilers
In this episode Dorothy learns what she's ailing from and the doctor that quickly dismissed her finally gets an earful ... from her. She's experiencing symptoms that doctors have been unable to identify. She is understandably frustrated until she sees a Chinese doctor who has done the research and lets her know she suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. There is no cure and apparently no treatment. Such news causes her to breathe a sigh of relief.

In the final scene Dorothy and the other Golden Girls go to a fancy restaurant to celebrate. The doctor that dismissed her happens to be at another table. Dorothy sees the doctor and decides to give the doctor a piece of her mind. Dorothy goes into the commando mode and brow beats him with a serious butt chewing. This is a good example of what some doctors do when they forget they are dealing with a human being with feelings.
