One of my favorite color episodes. Such a powerful singing performance with the Marine Band. Also great scene at the Lincoln Memorial.

This end of this episode when Gomer loses his voice gives me chills and brings tear to my eyes . As a high school coach, I feel like the last 8 minutes of this episode would be great to show anyone - a soldier going in to battle, players going into a big game, a person facing a huge personal crisis - facing a huge challenge to inspire them. This is what we're missing in America today: people who overcome fear to do the right thing. We set it in schools, we've seen it in our government, we've seen it in sports, and, sadly, we've seen it our police force (look at the mass shooting in Uvalde). ..
