  Greg Banks : Sorry, it was an accident. Maybe this time it won't be something bad.

  Shari Walker : I don't wanna disappear again! What's gonna happen?

  Greg Banks : Nothing, it's just a negative of you. I think you're OK. The camera must be broken.

  [Shari takes the camera and points it toward Greg] 

  Greg Banks : Are you nuts?

  Shari Walker : Well if it's broken you wouldn't mind me taking your picture.

  Greg Banks : It's not funny! Give it to me!

  [camera takes Greg's picture in the struggle] 

  Greg Banks : No! I'm fat!

  [Shari laughs] 

  Greg Banks : It's not funny! You think this is a big joke?

  Shari Walker : Big? Yes, it is a big joke. Don't worry; the camera's broken, remember?

  Greg Banks : What if it isn't? What if?

  Shari Walker : What?

  Greg Banks : What if we start changing? I'm bringing the camera to school. I'll put it back after I show Mr. Saur in English class tomorrow. Everything will be OK.

• Mr. Saur : Greg Banks. What are you doing in this grotesque costume? get rid of this padding!

  [Pulls up Greg's shirt, revealing Greg's huge belly] 

  Greg Banks : It's not a costume. It's the evil camera. It made me fat.

  Mr. Saur : The only fat is between your ears, Mr. Banks.

• Greg Banks : [Pinches his cheek]  I don't look any different.

  [Pulls up his shirt and pushes his stomach out] 

  Greg Banks : Anyone can stick their stomach out. That's normal. Everything's gonna be okay.

• Greg Banks : [Greg sits up on his bed and stretches. Suddenly, his pajama shirt rips in the back]  What's happening?

  [Gets up and goes to the mirror, where he sees that he has become fat overnight] 

  Greg Banks : No! No! NO!

• Greg Banks : At this rate, I'm going to explode. And you're going to vanish! We've got to do something.

  Shari Walker : But what?

  Greg Banks : Maybe if we took another picture, it'll turn out normal.

  Shari Walker : I don't know. Uh-oh! I'm getting that feeling!

  [Groans, and becomes thinner, resulting in her coat falling off] 

  Greg Banks : I think you just lost another pound! Ooh!

  [Greg gains more weight as Shari watches in horror. His shirt rides up, and his massive belly comes out] 

  Shari Walker : You're right, Greg. We've got to try something.

• Greg Banks : [to Terry]  You have to reverse these photo. Take this negative and make it a positive. And take this positive and make it a negative. Maybe it'll reverse what's happening to us.

• Terry Banks : I don't believe this.

  Greg Banks : Please. We don't have much time left.

  [Moans] 

  Greg Banks : I can feel it. I'm gonna explode.
