This episode marks the final appearances of Sam Drucker, Fred Ziffel, Hank Kimble, Mr. Haney, and Eb.
This episode is essentially the series finale of Green Acres (1965). The final two episodes were actually "back-door pilots" for proposed shows. They had nothing to do with Green Acres (1965) except for very brief appearances by Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor (as Oliver and Lisa, of course). The series was canceled a short time later.
The ratty couch Haney tries to pass off as belonging to 'Sigmund Frood', a tongue-in-cheek reference to pioneering psychologist Sigmund Freud, was stolen by him from the Ladies' Lounge at the bus depot.
Eb brings to Lisa Henry the goat who has an identity problem; he thinks he's a duck. The goat quacks.
Adjusted for inflation, the $25 Mr. Haney claims Arnold is paying for sessions with Mrs. Douglas would equal approximately $190 in the year 2024.
