Not a particular strong script and the ending was somewhat ludicrous but the story was interesting enough to keep the attention of the viewer up to the last fade out shot. Even with the many threats and wild fisticuffs, by the time the end came the viewer feels better for watching.
The story centers on two rival cattle drives. One of the cattle drives is led by a man named Tush, while the other is lead by Bert. Since Tush does not have cow that can swim a river, he is going to have to rent one from an older man that is known for his swimming cow named Onie Hagger. But when they get to his cabin it has been ransacked and there is blood on the floor. Tush believes Bert has killed Onie and the cow in order to keep them from getting to Dodge first and selling at the best price.
When Marshal Dillon does not arrest Bert due to lack of evidence, Tush will take the law into his own hands. With Tush bring his cowboys into town and Bert bring his cowboys in town, it looks like there may be a range war that will be too large for Matt to handle.
A nice story that was entertaining to watch. Even with the bizarre way the story ends, this episode will be worthy of watching. Not the best show in the bunch but one that makes your day feel better. Good watch.
