First episode where we actually see Arnold (Pat Morita).
"You Wanted To See It" is based on the show You Asked For It, which ran on the DuMont Network and then ABC. The show was a precursor to reality shows like That's Incredible and Real People. Jack Smith, who plays the host of "You Wanted To See It," hosted You Asked For It for its last season.
Fonzie (Henry Winkler) jump attempt is 14 garbage cans on his motorcycle. Assuming an average diameter of 23 inches for each can, that would make his jump at least 26.83 feet (14 × 23" = 322 inches/26.833 feet).
Footage from the scene with Jack Smith standing outside of Arnold's introducing "You Wanted to See It" was used as the beginning of the video for alt rock band Weezer's 1994 single "Buddy Holly." The video, which pays tribute to Happy Days, features numerous other clips from the series, takes place on a reconstruction of the original Arnold's set, and even features Al Molinaro reprising his role as Al Delvecchio.
