Arthur Daley rides again

A fun episode, with George Cole in Arthur Daley mode with a gang of pensioner reprobates intent on robbing the residents of Aidensfield.

Poor David has drawn a short straw to do jury service, something he wants to get out of. The goof here is that he could have redacted himself when Peggy knew the defendant and David knows PC Bellemy. Never mind David never wins does he?

Always and enjoyable watch, was always sad when it was cancelled.

A fun Heartbeat episode

This episode very much fits the format that became the norm in the shows latter years.

We have a plot involving the police, and one involving the lovable (depending on your opinion) and there's a fitting conclusion for both before the end.

I thought this episode was good fun, helped in turn by a good guest star in the form of George Cole.
