Lucy hears bandleader Phil Harris is looking for musicians for his band and offers to find them for him.

A good episode and a find showcase for Harris' talents. Lucy has some funny banter with Harris, his wife Alice Faye is mentioned. Lucy later comes in with musicians from different ethnic groups, according to the Equal Opportunity Employment. The funniest one is Ooka Lanooka, an Eskimo. Harris remarks that he is an Indian. Though I heard he was really not but his parents had many Cherokee friends. He hires Lucy to be the only woman in the band.

The scene where the band plays has Harris singing Deep In The Heart Of Texas with Lucy doing handclaps. He also sing his signature song That's What I Like About The South.
