A fanciful tale of infamous historical outlaw Johnny Ringo, who previously saved the life of Manolito, being hired by the army major at the local fort to assassinate an Apache chief. Turns out that the major was out of line on a whole lot of things and was reported by his lieutenant. This episode is treated in real old shoot-em-up-bang-bang style, so that the Cannon clan are out of ammo before the Apaches even come into range to fire at. All is saved by the promoted lieutenant leading a cavalry charge in cartoon fashion, bugle blaring which put me in mind of the rescues staged in "F Troop" and the popular cartoon "Super Chicken" back in the 1960s. Question: Why do nine out of ten Americans on tv, including Buck Cannon, pronounce the word Calvary (like in the Bible) instead of cavalry?
