Warning: Spoilers
Hunter (a fine James Sikking) returns to EAT duty. Washington (sturdy Taurean Blacque) gets involved with the mother and daughter of mentally disturbed young man Darius (an excellent portrayal by Don Cheadle). Renko (top work from Charles Haid) and Hill (solid Michael Warren) test out a new computerized patrol car. The police have their hands full with people competing in a radio station's Most Outrageous Act contest.

The business with both the contest and computerized patrol car provide plenty of laughs, with an old libidinous couple who get busted for committing a lewd act in public proving to be especially hilarious. The situation with Darius is especially poignant and ends on a tragic note. Jablonski (nicely played by Robert Prosky) confesses to Belker (a terrific Bruce Weitz) that he was with a hooker, so Belker helps him out of a jam. Buntz (the fantastic Dennis Franz) likewise comes through for Sid the Snitch (a deliciously slimy Peter Jurasik), who's in trouble with a shylock. It's also nice to see Renko make amends with Daryl Ann (an impressive turn by Deborah Richter). Cuba Gooding Jr. Has a small role as a gang member.
