Sex & Nudity

  • People are seen shirtless while having surgical procedures done.
  • Pedophilia and pedophiles are mentioned, as is child pornography.
  • Some kissing, a few minor sex jokes/innuendo, nothing over PG 13.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence is surprisingly excessive for this particular show:
  • Howard is shot in the heart and is said to be possibly dying. Beau is shot in the arm. Bolander is shot in the head. A huge amount of blood is seen. Munch isn't hurt but is left severely traumatized by the shooting of his friends. Upon finding that his shoes are covered in blood, he nearly starts crying, in shock. He wanders around in a daze throughout the episode, and it's rather disturbing to see.
  • Some yelling and arguing.
  • Characters like Meldrick and Russert, not present during the shooting, have to face the fear and grief of possibly losing their friends.
  • Pembleton feels like he is obligated to get justice, going on an investigative rampage.
  • Graphic on-screen surgery is seen.

Profanity

  • Not really any swearing worth mentioning, many uses of "damn" and "oh god".
  • "pedophile" and "porno" are both said.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
