Inside the car as the group approaches Aunt Sally's Pecan Pralines, Lucy is wearing a light-colored coat. When she gets out to read the sign on Aunt Sally's door, she's dressed in dark-colored clothes, then back in the car, she has on the light-colored coat again.
The distance between Aunt Sally's and the point where the car stops, seen from the shot in the car, is longer than the same distance seen from the outside shot.
Ethel says the full-sized mattress at the cabin is "just like ours at home," then they go through a routine of getting into bed, which Ethel claims to do every night. This implies that Ethel and Fred share a bed at home, but the few times we see their bedroom, they have separate twin beds.
Cables are seen in two parts of this episode: on the front of the Pontiac, to pull it when the gang leaves the motel; and on the bed in the cabin, to pull it across the room when the trains go by.
When the car is outside the motel, it has no windshield or window glass other than the vent window, and the headlights have a dull, white covering, probably to eliminate glare or reflections from studio lights.
When the Ricardos and the Mertzes are trying to 'escape' from their unacceptable lodgings and
set off the alarm by breaking the string tied to their car, a searchlight scans the area, making Fred describe the scene as a 'prison break'. On the first pass of the searchlight, it shines directly on the false backdrop, which was supposed to look like wide open space, making it obvious they are on a studio set.
