This is a pretty solid episode throughout, with very well timed humor mixed with sophisticated interactions and interesting conversation. It does go a bit stale toward the middle, but the ending more than makes up for it! Some of the best lines of the series.

With the television set broken( after Lucy and Ricky tussle over tuning it) the four friends listen to a radio program . The quiz show has married couples answering questions for prize money. Ricky gets all of them right. When Lucy and Ethel are in the kitchen Ricky confesses to Fred he was at the station when broadcast was recorded and he heard the entire thing! Next day Lucy calls the radio station and books her and Ricky for the show. When Ricky gets home he tells Lucy how he really knows the answers then hears on the radio they are next to appear! They both panic but despite Lucy's efforts she can't get out of but gets what she thinks will be the answers . The host though announces they will draw random questions so it will be above board since Ricky is a local celebrity. Lucy's answers don't match the questions but are hilarious! The writers did their job and then some with this part of the show. Ricky finally gets the bonus one and they win the jackpot.
As pointed out the middle of the show drags a bit but it has an especially funny last segment.

Lucy is fooled into thinking that Ricky is the smartest man in America and signs him up to do the radio game show that he seemed to know all the answers to. It turns out that he had been down on the set prior to the recording of that show and heard the answers before it aired. The show starts with the Ricardos and Mertzs sitting down for an apparent night of television but that is ruined by Ricky and Lucy's fighting over the controls. Ricky is very fast at answering the question, and impressed by this, Lucy calls the program without his permission, signing them up. When Lucy finds out the truth from Ricky, she tries to steal the answers with hysterical results, and of course there's a mix up resulting in some very funny answers to the wrong questions. Good moments for Ricky and Lucy, as well as the radio show production staff and the host.
