Don't let this happen to you.

Lucy is writing a novel. That's a sentence that screams trouble. Well, to be honest, it's one of those episodes where Lucy is not scheming she's taking it seriously. There's not much physical comedy but as a writer myself I relate to this.

Paging Mrs . Trumble

Warning: Spoilers
Lucy writes a novel, gets an acceptance letter and then and in person rejection ( unfortunate mixup) and then a backhanded compliment to publish it elsewhere all in record time.

The humor is in the little things that happen in this episode. Ricky's reaction when Lucy novel is accepted and later when she tears it up. Lucy's clever hiding places for all the copies for her novel . Then trying to piece it back together when another publisher wants it. It's a fairly average episode but it one I generally enjoy watching when it comes on. If I have it on Pluto and this one comes on I seldom change the channel.

The big question is when Lucy , Ethel will and Ricky go down to the basement to stop Fred from burning the trash and forget to call Mrs Trumble to stay with little Ricky and they are down there for hours putting the novel back together as Lucy types it . Surely he wasn't alone the whole time but it's a bit of an oversight.
