I love this one. Almost any episode with the four characters is a good episode. The part that makes me laugh is Fred holding on to Ethel with a rope, he swings the rope to help her climb up, but the rope comes but not Ethel. Lucy and Fred freak out thinking Ethel fell off the mountain, but she was right there climbing. The marching band is a riot. To have the four up in the mountains and being trapped at a cabin is something comforting, I can't explain what it is. Many shows after this have done, we're trapped episode. Lucy hiding her cheese sandwich makes me laugh because Ethel is a food expert, she can smell it from afar.

I don't know why this episode doesn't get much attention.
When Fred accidentally sends the band to the wrong city ( Ethel sat on his glasses and broke them !) Ricky fires then rehires him . Lucy suggest they all go mountain climbing to take their minds off everything. It's works but they end up stranded in a cabin and there is an avalanche. Everyone starts confessing things except Ricky ( they might be saved !) Fred confesses he's been charging the Ricardo's and extra ten dollars on their rent every month! Ethel confesses every month she gave them back the ten dollars!
It's an episode almost entirely of the four main characters. There are two brief scenes with a local band but most of it focuses on the mountain climbing , eating the big hotel lunch and time spent in the cabin.
A funny charming episode that's often overlooked.
