I don't know why they never went to Hawaii. They went to Hollywood, Europe and Florida . The hour specials had them going to vacation spots in and Alaska in the United States including Las Vegas and to Japan and Mexico. This episode has Lucy, Fred and Ethel trying to get Ricky to take them along with his band although it's not anything big he's going for. The worst part of the episode is how Ricky ruined any chance they had to go.
