Sparta gets a brand new chief

In this opening episode of season 7 Bill Gillespie has been voted out by the City Council of Sparta of course over the strong objections of Councilmember Harriet DeLong.

The council has offered FBI agent Hampton Forbes the job of police chief and Carl Weathers has come to Sparta for an interview.

As for the work of the Sparta PD it goes on and Carroll O'Connor tells Weathers that they have a current mrder case to solve, that of reclusive farmer Jason Byce who is the local miser and chases folks off his property with a shotgun. Can't say any more but the outcome is heartbreaking.

Not a good example for kids

When did people lose their rights to privacy?? Funny how fast those who say not wanting trespassers is mean will change to suing Arlo if a kid gets hurt on his property. Funny SAD.....not funny haha.
