After hitting Carl Purdy over the head and depositing him on the sofa, Roy Paxton reaches out the door and picks up Purdy's shotgun. When viewed from the exterior camera, he only has the shotgun in his hand. When they switch to a camera inside the room, Paxton suddenly has both the shotgun and a baseball bat in his hand.
Jamison trails Vidalia in her Cadillac Sedan de Ville to the bank in town (and out of it) in a circa 1992 Ford Taurus GL station wagon (its front-door name badges covered up with black tape) that has all its stock wheel covers & the rear bumper damaged on the right corner. Every shot of the pursuit on the open road features a car with no right-side wheel covers or bumper damage, while in every closeup (when Jamison does surveillance across from the house/leaves after them & when the cops close in on the fugitives at the graveyard) the original car with its wheel covers and bumper damage appears.
When the police are following the Purdys and the Paxtons, Parker tells Bubba that the only thing on that road is "Hush You Heroes." Lonnie responds to his comment and asks Parker what that is, even though they were in different cars, and Parker had not made his comment over the radio.
When Jamison follows Vidalia (as in onion, the Georgia state vegetable) to the bank, he passes a route marker indicating GA State Route 36 West (the shield displaying the state outline, as filming was done prinicipally in the town of Covington). When she enters the bank, to the right on a signpost is a plain white circle marker with "36" (east) on it. After she comes back out & Jamison continues trailing her, another plain white circle "36" marker (west) stands at the next intersection.
