After defeating an arsonist in the previous episode who had malevolent designs
on Christine Elise's property, the developers haven't given up. They're now
dealing with Robert O'Reilly who was the gangster boyfriend of her mother.
Things get kind of switched up in this episode and the powers that be now think O'Reilly's help isn't needed.
Nice to have an elected official to help as Denise Nicholas lends the weight of her office in an inquiry about this proposed development that would take over Elise's property.
Burgess Meredith continuing his role as a judge is as cranky and irascible as ever. It also looks like Carroll O'Connor and Elise might be bonding.
