- Gabrielle White: I always thought that I'd work in hospitals. I was studying medicine, but one afternoon a guest lecturer came into one of my classes. He spoke on the comparative anatomy between man and ape. Three weeks later I enlisted in a course of archeology. Here I am. You know, I never got to thank him. I read that he died. But I never forgot what he looked like. His name was Dr. David Banner.
- Dr. David Bruce Banner: Well, if you suffered from an affliction that you thought noone in the world ever had. And then suddenly you discover that someone else had that same affliction, in the past. Wouln't you try to find out everything you could about that person, recardless of how long ago they may lived?
- Reporter: Well, no doubt about it. The famous professor Williams has been in the desert sun once too often.
- Jack McGee: What he saw was the Hulk. And the only missing link is the name of the man who becomes the Hulk.
- Reporter: You're crazy, McGee. He's senile, you're crazy.
- Lone Wolf: He is father to the universe, and to all people. The first hunter. He walks the land, illuminating the boundaries, and making us all one great tribe.
- Michael: Why is he green, grandfather?
- Lone Wolf: To overcome the hate. If he were yellow, or brown, or red like us, or even white, any of the colors of man, which ever he was, that people would think they were superior. So he is green, the only one. And that makes the rest of us the same.
- Gabrielle White: David, I've checked the skull proportions over and over and the're still inconsistent. It's almost as if there are two different skulls.
- Dr. David Bruce Banner: Maybe it's one skull, but in the state of metamorphosis. He might have died during that metamorphosis.
- Professor Williams: Did you see him, Gabrielle? It's the creature from the cave painting! How could that be?
- Gabrielle White: Mr. McGee, there's something you should realize. I've been educated in the finest schools and I'm lucky enough to be the protégé of the distinguist profesor Williams. But before that, I was Gabrielle Whitecloud. I was raised on that plantation with those troublemakers. Goodbye, Mr. Mcgee.
- [Rick places David in one of the museum displays]
- Gabrielle White: Why are you locking him up?
- Rick: He's in the way. And we've already taken care of the security guards. They're locked out.
- Gabrielle White: You'll never pull this off.
- Little Jim: We already did. We're inside, they're outside.
- Gabrielle White: You think? There's only the three of you. It won't work.
- Professor Williams: Gentlemen, ladies, out of a 30.000 year sleep, suspended animation if you will, I believe we discovered the missing link.
