Let me say one thing. In those series with detectives leading investigations, most of episodes bore me, because of those same complex inquiries, with predictable results. Say for instance BARETTA, MANNIX, IRONSIDE and many more. But the episodes that don't bore me are those where there is NO investigation at all, but instead situations. Simply situations. This episode BLACKOUT is one of the same example although there is a small part of investigation. Very small actually. But that suits me fine. Unlike the previous episodes I watched and which were mostly for kids and happy families eating supper, this story is quite more interesting for larger audiences, more mature audiences, as well as the less...Good episode. Who cares about the ending, only the topic and atmosphere counts. Plus, there is here an unusual editing job that I did not notice in the other episode of the show, or any show of this era.
