Ironside meets the Penguin
TopekaBob9 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Fun episode as Burgess Meredith basically plays the Penguin, although this time he's the "good guy" - still, at the ending fadeout Meredith does his Penguin laugh (squawk squawk squawk). They just couldn't resist and I don't blame them.

But Meredith's hair is ridiculous. But it was the 1970's.

Bernie Kopell, "Doc" from Love Boat makes an appearance. Can't believe I'm saying this, but he was much better on Love Boat.

For the second straight episode the long form theme from Ironside by Quincy Jones' orchestra is played almost all the way through while the Ironside gang follows someone on the street. Not as effective as it was in the previous episode, but still cool.

And you're going to love the "hippie" getup that one of the characters puts on. Classic.
