Singer and a prayer
hindsonevansmike13 February 2023
Two great themes coincide in this episode, as Bud begins his rehab and Singer sets the scene for her seaborne arc (if you don't know the rest of season Eight by now, I'm not going to enlighten you.

Scott Lawrence gets to deliver some great cutting lines, whilst Nanci Chambers embellishes her portrayal of Lt Loren Singer and paints herself into a religious corner.

This episode is well-worth watching, as the courtroom scenes take us into the depths of religious bigotry and religious misunderstandings.

The Admiral/Meredith side-show barely scratches the surface of this episode. But Harriet proves her mettle - and bud justifies his medal!

i never liked the character sturgis turner

Sturgis Turner has always seemed too slick but waffle like to be a lawyer in the judge advocate general's office ... i for one wouldn't want him prosecuting or defending me because he can't be trusted ... he has way too many axes to grind and he will go nowhere in jag ... also bud roberts shows us why his wife harriette is the real heroine
