As Dr. Zin plays a film projector, the front reel is running forward while the back reel is running in reverse.
When the jeep first skids around a curve in the mountain road, the passengers are drawn only as solid colors (light blue for Hadji, orange for Jonny, red for Race and tan for the driver), but in the second serving vehicle shot, all the passengers appear in their specific colors and detailed look (with Jonny's hair a light brown rather than blond).
When Race slyly snaps a picture of Korchek, Korchek is alone because Tabak is standing behind Race, but when Jonny and Hadji develop the film, Tabak is not behind Race but standing next to Korchek.
A remote ancient temple surrounded by jungle has an electronically controlled secret passage stone door (to which a time-bomb is connected). No explanation given for where its power source comes from.
Race initially arrives at the temple by climbing down a rope and being lead by a guide. When Jade and the boys later seek the temple to find Race, they are without guide or map, and the part about having to climb down a rope is completely avoided. Then, just in time, Jade's piloted helicopter appears from nowhere to fly them away before a bomb explodes.
Koga the monkey knows Korchek is a stranger pretending to be Race, but not Bandit. Koga (an appearance-oriented animal) is new to the Quest group and shouldn't care as long as everyone is acting friendly, but Bandit is a dog (a scent-oriented animal) who has lived with Race for a long time. He should know Race by scent yet sits happily in Korchek's lap, oblivious.
Once the impostor replaces Race, there's no reason for keeping Race alive, yet they do. Later on, they decide to kill Race by blowing up an entire temple with a time-bomb. It's a case of going from one extreme to another (going too soft and then going beyond reason); logically it serves little purpose, but the plot needs it.
When Race is kidnapped he is wearing his typical red shirt with a collar and front-flap closure. Korchek is wearing a red t-shirt when he takes Race's place, but apparently neither Jonny nor Hadji notice the clothing change.
