Better part of two
keysam-0261018 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The best bit of this episode is the bit with the Bullocks coming to the cafe for a "do". Ivy is torn between being thrilled by this social coup and a little nervous about what *exactly* the Bullocks are getting up to in the room over the cafe.

Another highlight is Wally Batty's homecoming - Wally, Clegg & Compo arrive at the Batty home to find - and initially completely ignore - Nora standing on the dining table (there's a mouse).

It's not long before she's not alone on the table either!

The earlier part with the parcel at the railway collection office is great fun too. This episode has a lot of plot!

Much more entertaining than part one, with a final appropriate sign off to Foggy, watching from comfort as others try to realise his flag dreams.

Order of the Bullocks
Prismark1016 August 2016
Foggy still wants to put up the Union flag on the Yorkshire dales and goes to the rail parcel office to pick up a package from poacher turned station agent, Seth Armstrong!

Back in the cafe where the trio go to untangle the parcel from Compo's trousers we catch a glimpse of Wally Batty and others entering the cafe in a strange costume. It is the Order of the Bullocks based on the Buffalo's, because I once knew a joiner who was a Buffalo.

Wally has recently joined the Bullocks to further his name in the pigeon circles but it might be the only opportunity for him to escape the house and Nora Batty.

Foggy has an encounter with a Commodore who is busy on the boat with a bit of totty, an appearance from Maggie Ollerenshaw better known from as dithering Mavis that other Roy Clarke sitcom, Open all Hours.

Surprisingly Foggy's desire comes to fruition as the flag pole is erected but does not stand for long.

A moderately funny episode with Nora left standing on top of a table as a rat is on the loose in the house.
