Mama's Boy
bkoganbing6 March 2013
This episode of Trial By Jury is a crossover from SVU where Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay nailed a murder suspect who was a serial rapist. The problem with bringing Alfred Molina to trial is that he is rich and has a powerful dowager mother in Angela Lansbury.

Molina is a frightening character, a man with great physical strength he is a total mama's boy for whom Angela Lansbury catered to his every whim. No one says no to Alfred, not even as a juvenile, especially women.

Lansbury too is frightening in her own way. She's a milder version of the domineering mother she played so well in The Manchurian Candidate.

The story came to Trial By Jury from SVU after Molina attacked Casey Novack. Even though she wanted to carry on, Fred Dalton Thompson took her off the case and Bebe Neuwirth got it with Amy Carlson as second chair. He's a frightening man who mother has fixed things for for over thirty years.

Does the Mama's Boy finally get the justice he deserves? That's for you to rent this Trial By Jury episode to find out.
