Dr. Farney is on the ship to promote a 'muskmelon' diet. Markie Post is his model. Gosh, Markie does it for me. I grew up on Night Court, of course, but they never dressed her like this! Dr. Martin is his old partner, who's also on the cruise. Martin will try to get to Markie to gain all that weight back. Gopher has to protect the dress Markie is supposed to wear. Carol is here to meet her mother. What will she say when mother turns out to be a simple flower peddler? She won't find out if Captain Stubing gives her a makeover. Bob Denver - with toupee - is a hot tub salesman. He's going to win his ex-wife back. Too bad her father is big Forrest Tucker. You're not gonna tell me Bob Denver and Markie Post wear the same dress size. This one ends in a triple wedding. Excuse me, it's dusty in here. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 3 * out of a possible 5 *.
