A Big Variety Show-Type Finish
kgraovac21 November 2023
Lucy tries to save Ken Jones' dance studio from going under by calling in a favor from a Teamster.

This episode combines two of the series' familiar plotlines: Lucy helps a random person in need/Lucy helps an unknown break into show business.

When a Teamster almost loses a large sum of money at the bank and Lucy returns it, she has him repay her by bringing in about a dozen burly truckers to take dance lessons at Ken's struggling studio.

Later, she has Ralph Story profile Ken on his TV show "Ralph Story's Los Angeles" where Lucy joins them in a big dance number that gains huge publicity for the studio.

This one is just an excuse to have Ken Berry show off his terpsichorean talents and the truck drivers, who are now a bunch of "twinkletoes" belt out an ego-boosting ode to Lucy in the finale.

The middle scene where Ken teaches the guys to dance by having them learn the steps by visualizing the floor board on their trucks is only mildly amusing.
