Lucy takes a secretarial job so she can afford a summer vacation, then panics when her first assignment is to serve Mr. Mooney with a summons.
This episode is not as funny or entertaining as the HERE'S LUCY episode with the same title. The scene at the train station takes up half the episode and most of it consists of Lucy and Mooney constantly missing each other, over and over as she tries to find him to serve the summons. This comedy trope doesn't really play well in 2023 like it did sixty years ago. The best part is when Lucy makes one of her after-the-fact entrances having jumped on the train and then chased off for being a pickpocket.
It did have a good twist at the end where Mooney was actually looking forward to being served so he could appear as a witness, but otherwise this is one of many Season 2 episodes that are kind of bland.
