Lucy attends stewardess school with nervous trainee Carol Tilford, and the two novices take to the skies.

This is Carol Burnett's third appearance on the show and her first since the debut of her long-running variety series a few months earlier on CBS. Burnett's episodes never result in anything stellar. The writers always shoehorn in at least one musical number and the writing really plays up her character's quirks leaving Lucy with not much to do.

Kasey Rogers (Louise Tate #2 on BEWITCHED) plays the no-nonsense trainer but the whole grapefruit bit in the classroom scene leaves you asking "SO??? What's so funny about THAT?".

The best parts are Carol's panic attack on the plane; Lucy fawning and flirting with the handsome passenger Mr. Brennan; and when the reel of film starts spewing out of the projector.

During Lucy and Carol's impromptu musical entertainment, Burnett's impression of Ethel Merman is the highlight. Lucy does her Charlie Chaplin bit for the third time in the series.
