Restaurant Is a Bust, and So Is This Episode
kgraovac26 November 2023
Lucy persuades Viv to join her in a restaurant venture, but they can't drum up any business, despite changing the menu and motif multiple times.

It's obvious the writers are looking for interesting situations in which to drop the ladies, but the scripts aren't good enough to support the ideas. The opening scene has a few digs at Viv's obsession with food.

The best thing that can be said about this episode is that the costumes look good. Lucy and Viv are seen as gypsies, and then later as George and Martha Washington. Otherwise, the jokes are weak and the comedy is flat and the whole episode sinks like a lead balloon. The sad thing, it's far from the season's worst.
