Lucy on the Drums
kgraovac26 November 2023
Viv moves out after she and Lucy have a fight and Mooney brings in a new boarder: a nightclub singer and her teenage son, whose incessant practicing quickly unnerves Lucy.

An okay episode, but it's already getting tiresome to have another episode with the duo fighting again. The best part is when Lucy is peeling potatoes to the rhythm while Roberta is rehearsing in the living room.

Marl Young appears in an uncredited role as one of Roberta's musicians. He would take over as Lucy's musical director at the end of the decade after Wilbur Hatch passed away. In the script, Lucy mentions bandleaders Les Brown and Stan Kenton when Chris is talking about the Junior Hop.
