- Mac's Fly-by-Night friend Jack Dalton has died. But when he stops by the funeral home to pay his last respects, he catches an eye twitch from the corpse. Jack has faked his death to escape from two CIA operatives that have gone to the dark side and are pursuing him. It seems Jack told CIA higher ups about a leak in top secret documents he has been paid to deliver. Mac is getting briefed on this information as the two bad agents show up at the funeral home. They escape in a motorcycle with a side car. The two decide to contact Jack's trusted CIA operative whose code name is "Light". When they arrive at the spot where meetings usually occur, Light is dead, surrounded by police officers and the two crooked operatives. They point at Mac and Jack saying, "Those are the guys who killed him!". Once again, the motorcycle/side car combo is able to elude pursuit. Jack suggests they continue on with his next planned delivery at a go-go girl club where Light's partner Shadow is a dancer. The messenger arrives with a package for him, but the two CIA agents have figured he would be there, too. They grab the package and escort Mac, Jack and Shadow at gunpoint. One of the other girls interferes a bit and gets shoved. This starts a fight that allows Mac and company to slip part of the way out of the club. They are still working on the locks when they are caught. In the ensuing tussle, one of the CIA bad apples loses his shoe. On its sole is a label that reads Berrenger Import/Export Co. This is how the stolen documents are exported. The three go to the warehouse and find this last shipment is a cipher machine capable of decoding sensitive U.S. messages. Shadow sees it brought by Jay Michaels, the true leak in the CIA. Mac crawls into a shipping crate so that the forklift driver moves him inside. Once there, he lets Shadow in to see what's at stake. They are apprehended, though. The three are placed in a garbage truck to be disposed of "properly". The one CIA baddie pushes the "Sled" button to dump them out on the highway. Mac is able to lift the back of the truck in time to avoid being dropped onto the road at 50 mph. They hide on top of the truck so they can jump on the two CIA men when they come to look for them. They lead two patrol cars to the import/export facility by running a red light.—Garon Smith
- Jack Dalton (Bruce McGill) seemingly back from the dead, convinces MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson) that he is now planning 'an honest day's work for an honest day's pay'. So why is it that they soon find themselves wanted for murder and on the run from the CIA? And what is so important about the contents of the mysterious package?
