As usual everyone is a jerk too one another in this one. But i feel like there isn't a lot of people discussing the character of Ida, aka Lois's mom. What is her nationally, because it certainly isn't Canadian?
Second. Ida is abusive and too cruel to be considered a funny or a fun too hate character. She is in my opinion, a real representation of selfishness, sadism, and a harmful stereotype of a country that i don't know is real or not.
It's episodes like this the highlight evil and selfishness in it's true rawest form. What kind of a mother sues her daughter who is pregnant, broke, and already has trouble with her own kids. In past episodes it's revealed that not only is Ida a horrible person, but a criminal, a homewrecker, a hoarder, and she even stole a married man from his family and made Lois and her sister believe that that man was their biological father. This character is evil, and not in a fun or hilarious way. Which begs the question why isn't she in jail?
