In the opening when Lois leaves the boys room she closes the door but then she opens it and you can see her hand on the handle but in the next shot when it is showing the inside of the boys room her hand is not on the handle and then she closes the door completely but in the next shot when it is showing the inside of the boys room the door is shown to be wide open.

In the Red Dress episode, while Dewey running and screaming, "Mom!" and Lois bringing the Red Dress to the dining room, you can see a crew who has a bucket, which were used to make to look like the Red Dress just came out of closet.
As Lois is proceeding to show Malcolm, Reese, and Dewey the burned red dress, you can see Lois picking up the dress from a bucket of water that a crew member is holding around the corner. Both the bucket and the body of the crew member are fully visible for a short time.
