When Helen Parrish (Brenda Benet) shows Joe Mannix the note that accompanied the $2,000 she found in an envelope, the handwriting on the note changes noticeably from the closeup of the note to the side shot shown as Mannix is reading it, such as the way that the letter "K" is formed in the first word, "Kitten."
When Mannix checks out Paul Parish after he shot, there are no signs of a head injury. Yet when Paul Parish is seen in the hospital his head is bandaged. Also, if he had been shot in the head, he would surely have some level of brain trauma but he does not.
When Mannix goes to the airport in search of Paul, he hurriedly pulls into a rental car parking lot, with his car diagonally across two parking spots. A couple of minutes later when he returns to his car, it has been moved.
They messed up Brenda Benét's name and, at the end credits they added a French accent aigu on the N instead of on the second E of her last name.
Most of this episode supposedly takes place in a small town 100 miles north of Los Angeles, but when Joe Mannix is pursuing Paul Parrish, a road sign clearly shows the location as the "Mulholland Highway." Mulholland Highway is a road through a rugged part of Griffith Park in Los Angeles, about halfway between Highway 101 and Interstate 5 just north of Hollywood.
Two nurses are taking Paul's (Robert Ritchie) blood pressure. One is inflating the cuff while looking at her watch. The other is looking closely at the gauge on the sphygmomanometer. Neither is using a stethoscope on his arm, which is necessary for taking the reading.
