The episode begins in the middle of winter with snow on the ground. Al must build a dog house to keep Lucky outside. The episode then cuts to Al building the dog house and its sunny out with no snow and Jefferson walks over in a hawaiian shirt.

I think that the doggy toilet was where it really lost me.

Married With Children can get pretty far-fetched at times, and sometimes it works: for example, the episode where Al meets the aliens is, in my opinion, one of the most absurd yet funniest in the show's history.

This one, in which Al builds a doghouse for Lucky, is also very daft: there's no way that the construction of a kennel would be subject to so many ridiculous rules, and there's absolutely no way that Carlos would spend $12000 of his own money to help Al finish the job.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough big laughs to help me ignore the idiocy of the plot. Plus, Bud -- probably the funniest member of the family -- isn't in this episode much, having disappeared early on with a busty woman he has never met before after she calls at his house and tells him that she wants him (I DID say that this one was far-fetched!).

Also stretching plausibility: Kelly spends a fortune to look more natural, and wears South American clothing so that she will appeal to Carlos, and the guy turns her down. As if.
