Georgette comes to the office to see if Ted wants to go to lunch and finds him in the arms of another woman. Mary finds her crying and tries to console her. Once Ted comes out he gives her quite the story: The woman was a vacuum cleaner salesperson and she was severely shocked by her equipment. He was forced to give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. But Georgette talks to the woman in the elevator and the woman told her that her vacuum cleaner was in her closet at home. Georgette figures it's time for a change. First she decides to be her own woman. When that doesn't work, she decides to become a nun. Mary wants to make sure that she isn't being too impulsive and invites the nun who is overseeing Georgettes application to come to her apartment for a meeting. Rhoda lets her in because Mary is running late. Who should show up first, but Ted, who starts putting moves on the Sister. It's all really hilarious with a very satisfying conclusion. Ted, who is about as clueless and jerky as can be, is a great character and we can't help but love him.
