Mary again has to face prosecution for not revealing her sources in a case involving corruption in City Hall. She is very worried, so Lou gets her an attorney. It is pretty successful guy who played poker with Lou. He seems very competent. Unfortunately, he falls head over heels for Mary. When Lou tells him she doesn't love him, he goes on a bender. This is a comedy, but he shows up plastered in court. This could have tragic consequences for her. One of the best scenes is when the prosecution calls Ted to the stand to try to get him to say that Mary isn't really a news person, since his produces the news. You have to see this to know what I'm talking about.
