Rhoda dating
Rrrobert11 July 2019
A Rhoda dating episode. I don't really like the 'dating' episodes so much but Rhoda dating is funnier than Mary dating (less soppy).

This one is pretty good. The story works well, and Rhoda is funny. It helps that the guy is pretty cool and relaxed - often they are artificially 'charming' and you wonder what the attraction is.

Rhoda told the guy she and Mary were roommates. Was this a safety measure employed by Rhoda or a clever way to save on sets and explain Mary's presence throughout by setting every scene with the boyfriend in Mary's apartment?

Roommates
Hitchcoc1 February 2017
Another handsome guy ends up in Mary's apartment. It seems Mary and Rhoda were stranded at a gas station and this guy brought them home. Rhoda is take with him and tells him she and Mary are roommates. He likes Rhoda and they begin dating. This leads to complications. He spends a ton on Rhoda and this makes them suspicious of him. They actually believe he may be involved in organized crime. What he is, however, is a former executive, whose aspirations are to return to college to get a degree in forestry, so he can become a forest ranger. Well, Rhoda is hardly the outdoors type, to there are some serious questions to deal with.

Rhoda gets the guy...but doesn't know what to do with him.
planktonrules6 February 2024
The story begins with Rhoda and Mary being stuck when their car breaks down. A handsome guy brings them home and before he leaves, he asks Rhoda for a date. As for Rhoda, she's smitten as well and is ashamed to take him to her dumpy apartment...and tells him that she and Mary are roommates. Their date goes well and they see a lot of each other. But after a while, Mary starts to worry, as the guy never talks about a job and seems to have plenty of time to do whatever he wants. The answer, of course, is NOT terrible (Mary thought he might be a mobster) but it also is something that makes Rhoda wonder if they should break things off. What is this secret?

This isn't a super-funny episode but it is an enjoyable one and it's nice to see Rhoda featured instead of Mary. Worth seeing.
