A very good episode as there is a writer's strike and Mary and Lou end up doing almost all the work. Since other unions are honoring the strike, they also get Ted Baxter. There are some really hilarious scenes where Lou has to do the news and he is awful. Mary, of course, is about as wishy-washy as one can get. She can't put her arms around the fact that she is management, and all her friends are on the picket line. Even Rhoda turns on her because the only manager her father ever endorsed was Casey Stengel. One guy, who substituted for Chuckles the Clown forgets to take off his clown nose when he switches to another venue.

Many laugh out loud moments as various unions go on strike leaving Mary and Lou to do other people's jobs.
Lou is nervous about having to present the news and he is a riot. I love his "my hands are clammy" bit with Mary.
