Marshal Sam McCloud can never resist jumping into someone's case in this series. In this episode he jumps in with both feet into a homicide where veteran homicide detective Pat Hingle has arrested a young Hispanic played by A. Martinez for the murder of Sandra Ego.
Ego was a sad case, she was a full blooded Navajo who came east and became the kept woman of a rich married man who dumped her. To pay her rent on her expensive pad she borrows from loan shark Christopher George who has some high interest, short patience, and swift collection techniques. But Martinez is caught over the body with some jewelry belonging to her.
Lynda Day George is in this as well and she steers clients to her real husband. Dennis Weaver goes undercover in this episode and gets to romance Lynda. Some guys have all the luck.
Hingle is a guy with a short fuse and he really doesn't like McCloud messing in his case. For what Dennis Weaver does he should have been sent back to Taos, New Mexico forthwith and would have in real life. But as it goes in McCloud he's always proved right in the end.
Why isn't he training the NYPD instead of the other way around?
