Binghamton has just learned that a Navy doctor is coming to the base to make sure all the Commanders are in shape. It just so happens that McHale is right at the high limit and could lose his command if he gains any more weight.
Well as sneaky as Binghamton is, he does not tell McHale about the physical. Instead he tells McHale that he wants to be friends with him. So Binghamton invites McHale to dinner parties, beer drinks and even dessert trays. By the time McHale finds out about the physical he is over the weight limit. Binghamton could not be more happy. But hold on, the crew from PT 73 has a plan.
The best part of the entire show is when Binghamton want to bury the hatchet and become friends with McHale. He even tells McHale to call him Wally. The rest of the show is basically routine for the plot but still entertaining enough for a enjoyable watch. Good show.
